From September 15 to October 15, 2026, applications will be open for the AiR Goyki 3 artist residency program.
The AiR Goyki 3 program is primarily aimed at visual artists as well as writers and those working with literature. In 2026, we will invite residents to co-create the eleventh and twelfth seasons of the residency.
AiR Goyki 3 focuses on supporting the creative process and fostering dialogue between artists from different disciplines. By providing residents with time and space, our goal is to encourage the development of new projects or the continuation of previous work. We do not impose a final outcome or a theme for the residency. We support well-considered, research-based projects that take into account their place of realization—namely, the city of Sopot and the Goyki 3 Art Inkubator space.
The residencies in 2026 will take place on:
→ April 8 – June 8
→ September 14 – November 14
As part of the residency, the Art Inkubator provides:
→ a studio at the Art Inkubator headquarters;
→ curatorial support throughout the residency;
→ assistance in building connections between the resident and the local art scene, including meetings and visits to institutions relevant to the resident’s artistic practice;
→ accommodation in Sopot for two residents during the April–June residency (with accommodation provided at a location chosen by the Art Inkubator);
→ coverage of residency-related costs up to PLN 10,000 gross for each of two residents during the September–November residency;
→ a project budget of PLN 2,000 gross for each of four residents to cover project expenses during the residency.
To apply to the AiR Goyki 3 program, applicants must submit the application form for the chosen residency season—spring or autumn—completed with the following information:
→ a project proposal to be carried out during the residency in Sopot (up to 500 words)
→ contact details – full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, country of residence
and attach:
→ CV including the most important recent projects and awards (PDF format, up to 2 MB)
→ portfolio with an artist statement including up to 6 completed projects with technical descriptions (mandatory PDF format, max. 3 MB)
